Alba is a Spanish illustrator and art teacher from Barcelona now based in Auckland. She’s been teaching drawing and painting to kids and adults for the past three years. She loves drawing, painting and printmaking, and she likes to experiment with different techniques, media and styles.
In 2023 she won the Margaret Mahy Illustration Prize, which gave her the opportunity to illustrate and publish her first picture book: 17 Kings and 42 Elephants.
